Special Features of ColorJet Solvent Printer

Data Transmission : Data is transmitted Control Card to the print head on multi mode optical cables thus minimizing the risk of data corruption due to electromagnetic interference.

Pressure Purge : Purge the heads by the method of applying positive pressure in the Ink Tank which forces the ejection of ink through the nozzles of the head.

Pre & Post Heating : The machine has been provided with a completely solid state zero crossover controlled circuit for the Heaters, thereby increasing the efficiency and reliability of the system and doing away with the possibility of contact burning.

Roll-to-Roll Printing : The media feed is powered through geared AC Synchronous motor which is controlled by a closed loop system. This ensures that there is always a constant tension in the media which helps in achieving “No Banding” on the prints.

Special Features of ColorJet Printing Software

Head Alignments : Electronic alignments of head offset in the X & Y direction is done through the user interface.

Purge Band : Position, width and enabling of the purge band user selectable through the GUI.

On the fly corrections : This feature permits the user to change the system parameters like Horizontal & Vertical head placement corrections, Bidirectional offset corrections & Media feed corrections while the print is in progress. There is no need to pause or abort the existing printing. The effect of the changes made are implemented in the starting of the next swathe.

Color Balancing : The colors can be corrected on the ripped file by the user through the GUI

Print environment : The defining of parameters like print offset , number of copies and number of passes are stored along with the file , thus providing the same environment for each subsequent prints Settings

Print Queue : The print job queue can be created, which helps in easy tracking of production job.

White Skip : The system automatically skips the white portions in the scan & feed direction, which increases the throughput of printer.
