The machine is built around a very heavy base structure. This provides stability to the system and reduces the vibrations.

PID Controlled Pre and Post Heating System to ensure even heating of the media guides. Wider media contact with the take-up media guides to ensure better adhesion of ink to the substrate.

•

High Flow Air Fans for drying of the ink is implemented with built in PID Controlled heaters. There are 4 modes of operations available half/full fan and half/full heater combinations.

Negative Pressure ink system and Head Heater has been implemented in order to ensure supply of ink to the heads at a constant pressure thus ensuring even drop mass.

•

Push to purge for individual color with push button control for purging the heads. This ensures that there is debris deposit on the head plate and also that there are no air bubbles in the ink manifold of the head.

•

In order to have consistent drop mass PID Controlled head has been implemented for the print heads. This ensure consistent viscosity of ink thus ensuring constant drop mass.

•

Pinch roller control is through pneumatic system this ensures constant pressure is applied to the media which in turn ensures proper feed of media.

•

Automated motorized closed loop control system for the media handling motors is provided. There is also a provision to have manual control of the system which may be important in media handling.

•

AC servos have been implemented for the Scan and Media Feed operations. This afford faster jitter free ramping of the motors to constant velocity. This is important for good quality prints.

•

In order to support large carriage mass dual Linear Motion Guides have been provided. This afford stability to the system avoids vibrations on the carriage system.

•

To ensure uniform media tension controlled buffer loops have been provided. This helps in ensuring that there are no unevenness in feed and also ensure that banding is not there on the prints.

•

High capacity ink filter have been used in order to provide even flow of ink.

•

Main ink tank level indicators have been provided for individual ink colors and also for the solvent. Four levels are indicated. On the empty condition a buzzer is sounded attracting the attention of the operator.

Solvent flushing system for cleaning of individual heads is provided. The solvent is passed through the heads under pressure thus flushing total ink fron the heads.

•

Large capacity vacuum tank has been provided to maintain constant vacuum for maintaining the pressure at the print heads. This is also ensure that in case of a momentry failure of air compressor the ink does not leak from the heads as generally the print electronics run on UPS system.

Precision and wider grit rollers have been used in order to ensure better gripping of the media and accurate feeding. This is important to avoid skewing of the media and banding on the prints.

•

Segmented drying fans and heater system with interlocking has been provided. This facilitate the option of suing half the heater and the fans when using smaller width media.

•

Mesh printing option available, this is achieved by providing user removable platen.

•

The electronic control system is moduler in design which provides ease of maintenance. All the controls are touch button ac and motivated.
